The Saudi Engineering Authority (SAGA) has launched the “Tasraf” electronic service, which requires engineers wishing to work in the Kingdom to register with the Saudi Engineers Association before entering and contracting them and granting them a work visa by companies, engineering offices and government and private sectors.
The service is characterized by the speed and ease of registration and the sending of educational qualifications and certificates of experience and documents in a short time and a short way, and is dependent on the application of the mandatory requirement for five years of experience for any engineer wishing to work in the Kingdom, as well as to verify the accuracy of his data, passing”
The service is designed to facilitate procedures for those wishing to work in the Kingdom, as well as to facilitate procedures for employers and different sectors, adding that this service has worked on it in cooperation with some government sectors such as the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Passports, Through the linkage in the system between the Commission and those bodies, and the implementation of decisions issued regarding the granting of a work visa or entry into the Kingdom for those who do not have the ability and professionalism in one of the approved engineering disciplines applied by the Saudi Commission for For engineers.
