Austrian exports have been hit by US tariffs

Vienna 10-04-2019 / WAM
Austria’s exports will be hit by additional US tariffs on European imports because of European Union “subsidies” to Airbus, the food industry association said.
The latest figures showed that additional US tariffs on European cheese and fruit juices would cost Austrian exports around 15 million euros.
The association’s data showed that Austria’s cheese products would be hit by the new tariff of 4 million euros and fruit juices by 11 million euros.
It should be noted that the United States announced the imposition of punitive tariffs on imports of the European Union, which will enter into force on October 18, because of subsidies Airbus.
