MoU signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Construction and Housing

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development, the Ministry of Housing, the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF), the Council of Saudi Chambers and the Saudi Contractors Authority signed a memorandum of cooperation to settle 80,000 jobs in the real estate and contracting sectors starting from the current year until the end of 2020. And stimulate the real estate and contracting sectors to grow, in line with the objectives of the National Transition Program and Vision 2030.
The provisions of the Memorandum of Cooperation provide for coordination between the relevant authorities in order to enable the process of Emiratization in the real estate and contracting sectors, follow up and monitor the impact of Emiratisation in the sector and issue legislation and regulations in accordance with the jurisdiction to support the achievement of the objectives and increase employment rates using appropriate mechanisms .
The partners of the partnership agreed to form a joint working group comprising specialists from the partners’ partners to formulate the working mechanism and submit a detailed plan to ensure effective implementation and to submit regular periodic reports on the progress of the joint parties.
