The signing of a memorandum of understanding between the “Davza” and the Malaysian Penang International Center for Halal

Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian Penang International Center for Halal, a wholly-owned Malaysian government in support of the Halal sector. Halal Trading & Marketing “with a range of distinguished services to support companies and businessmen at the local, regional and global levels.
This came during an official signing ceremony held at DAFZA headquarters in Dubai, attended by Nasser Al Madani, Assistant Director General of Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority, Dato Haji Abdul Halim Hussain, Minister of State for Internal and International Trade in Malaysia and Chairman of Penang International Center for Halal, Officials and staff of both sides.
The Halal Center for Trade and Marketing, launched in October 2018 by DAFZA, provides an integrated system of services in the Halal sector to support international companies and entrepreneurs in their operations and access to rapidly growing developing markets as well as helping companies assess trends, opportunities and legislation. These markets are better placed to make sound decisions regarding their business operations.
The Center supports clients through the services provided by strategic partners. The Penang International Halal Center will become a key service partner for the Center to support investor growth and facilitate their entry into the South East Asian markets, particularly the “Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand Growth Triangle” region as well as in the GCC region Gulf.
