The Office of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced the end of the evaluation stages for the participants in the twentieth session of the award, so that the jury will begin to consider the results and submit recommendations in their regard to the higher committee of the award for final approval.
Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, confirmed that the twentieth session witnessed a great turnout by the participating institutions and establishments from inside and outside the country, with an increase of more than 20% compared to the previous session, and the award sought to develop the definition of the concept of excellence. Through a renewed understanding related to the importance of continuing to provide services and products with higher efficiency, lower cost, and removal of institutional waste, in order to achieve the strategic goals that are represented in the development of employees’ skill, knowledge and behavior, and the development of work systems and programs, raising efficiency and enhancing effectiveness, and achieving the best financial and operational results.
Al Fahim added: “The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award is not a narrow competitive framework; Rather, it is an integrated program that seeks to give all participants a clear picture of excellence, and to show the facts related to their institutions and facilities, to know the strengths and work to strengthen them and focus on improvement and development opportunities and turn them into initiatives and projects through which the required transformation will be brought about.”
