The UAE University attracts outstanding citizens in the “Teaching Assistants Program” to work as faculty members

Al Ain, January 16, The United Arab Emirates University is working to attract and develop national faculty members through the “Teachers’ Program”, which offers scholarships to distinguished graduates who have the desire to complete their postgraduate studies and work in the academic field.

Dr. Badriya Al-Khanbouli, Director of the Office of Recruiting National Faculty Members, who supervises the program, said that the university is keen to attract distinguished faculty members, provide special support to citizens among them, and provide high-quality administrative and technical services. Noting that programs and study plans are being prepared and continuously updated. For postgraduate studies (master’s and doctoral programs) and periodic external evaluation according to the highest international quality standards.

Regarding the stages of application, she explained that faculty members in scientific departments nominate distinguished graduates for the position of teaching assistant, based on their cumulative average, personal skills, and readiness for postgraduate studies. Annual travel for him and his family and children’s education expenses, as the final evaluation of each candidate takes place after the personal interview.

As for the conditions for acceptance and scholarship of teaching assistants to complete the postgraduate program, they are that the applicant should be a citizen of the UAE, that the cumulative average in the bachelor’s degree is 3.3 or above, and that the applicant has a score of 7 in the English language IELTS exam, and that he undertakes to study a master’s and doctoral degrees outside the country.
