The UAE passport grants its holder entry to 177 countries

The UAE passport has strengthened its lead again, alone in the first place in the world as the most powerful passport in the world, by adding a new point, yesterday evening, Tuesday, from its exemptions from prior visa, thus granting its holder access to 177 countries around the world, according to the latest update of the “Passport” index. Index is a subsidiary of Arton Capital, a global financial advisory firm.

By adding the new visa point, the UAE passport allowed entry to 177 countries, of which 120 without a prior visa, and 57 whose visas can be obtained online or upon arrival in the country, with a rate of more than 88% of the countries of the world, and also reduced the number of countries that need a visa. To only 21 of the 198 countries accredited to the United Nations.

The passports of 11 countries are competing for second place, namely “Germany, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Italy, Australia, the Netherlands, Switzerland and South Korea”, as their passports allow entry to 173 countries, without a prior visa.
