His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, stressed the importance of international standards and indicators issued by various international organizations and bodies in guiding the governmental work system in the Emirate. .
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and the Director of Government Departments and Authorities in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has shown remarkable progress in the results of many indicators.
His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah praised the efforts of the work teams in the various local departments and institutions and the price of the results achieved during the last stage, stressing the importance of continuing this effort to develop the governmental work system and benefit from reports issued by international organizations and follow them on a permanent basis.
The emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has made progress in the results of the World Bank’s 2018 report in the local economies, advancing to 30th place after it was ranked 45th in 2016 by measuring four key indicators: starting business, building licenses, real estate registration and contract enforcement.
This achievement is in line with the vision of the UAE 2021 and Ras Al Khaimah’s strategic vision under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi.
The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has achieved remarkable progress in several sub-indices, the most important of which is the time index of the 160 days of business cases, which is the fastest in the world, in addition to the number of procedures related to registration of real estate, The procedure is one day and is considered the fastest in the world. The construction quality control index achieved 13 points while the highest in the world is 15 points.
The report pointed to the superiority of Ras Al Khaimah in several sub-indices at the level of the GCC.
