Emirates Steel has announced its participation in the first Saudi International Iron and Steel Conference as a Rhodium sponsor, which will be held in Riyadh from 16-18 September.
The conference will bring together the leaders of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) steel sector to discuss the current state of the steel market in the region, focus on future growth opportunities within the sector, as well as highlight ways to collaborate with decision makers to support the iron and steel industry in the Gulf States. Steel production capacity increased to about 17 million tons by the end of 2018, and is expected to reach 19 million tons by the end of 2020.
