UAE and Uzbekistan launch plan to activate partnership between the two Counties.

The UAE and the Republic of Uzbekistan launched a plan to activate the partnership between the two friendly countries in the fields of work in implementation of the protocol of cooperation concluded between the two countries in April.

The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, and Sherzud Kudayev, Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, signed the plan to activate the cooperation in the presence of Dr. Omar Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Assistant Emiratisation for Communication and International Relations. “The cooperation between the UAE and Uzbekistan in the fields of work is an embodiment of the leadership of the two friendly countries to open new horizons for their partnership in various fields within a common vision that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples,” Nasser bin Thani al-Hamli said in a press statement.

He stressed the importance of cooperation and partnership with Uzbekistan in providing the labour market in the country with Uzbek competencies, especially in the light of the joint programs that will be implemented between the two sides.

He also stressed the efforts of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization to develop its partnerships and cooperation with many countries sending workers to attract expertise and skilled labour to contribute to achieving the goals of the national agenda in terms of enhancing the percentage of knowledge and cultural diversity in the labour market.

For his part, the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations of Uzbekistan expressed his happiness to start a new phase of cooperation between the UAE and Uzbekistan in the areas of work.

He pointed out that Uzbekistan is working according to a strategic plan to train and develop employment skills to meet the needs of the local market and foreign labour markets, pointing out that the joint programs agreed upon in the plan of action will enhance the capabilities of his country’s employment in line with the requirements of job opportunities in the UAE labor market, the Uzbek’s

The partnership aims to facilitate the recruitment of Uzbek workers to the UAE labor market and to exchange information and experiences on best practices in the areas of development and training in the field of labor market management, cooperation in the field of training and guidance for Uzbek workers and qualifying them to work in the labor market in the country and coordinate cooperation between recruitment agencies and employers in the State  and private employment agencies in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The two sides agreed to develop a project for electronic linking between the two parties’ systems and to exchange updated information about the licensed employment agencies in both countries and to prepare a training program for the employees of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations in Uzbekistan on the best practices in the management of labor market systems.

The two sides also agreed to implement the orientation and awareness programs for the Uzbek worker before leaving the country and after the arrival of the state and the employer on the relevant regulations, laws, procedures, legislation, culture, customs and traditions as well as organizing joint activities to strengthen the cooperation relations between the recruitment and recruitment agencies in both countries and implement plans to speed up and facilitate the process.

Recruitment of Uzbek workers to the UAE through partnership with the private sector and coordination between the government employment agency of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan and the private employment agencies in the Republic of Uzbeks Tan to unite efforts and provide a unified database of Uzbek workers wishing to work in the UAE.
The two sides formed a joint committee to follow up the implementation of the agreed programs in a manner that achieves the desired objectives as required.
