Dubai Trade and Xpress Money agree to provide international remittances to Pakistan and the Philippines

Dubai Commercial Bank has signed a partnership agreement with Xpress Money to provide international remittance services to Pakistan and the Philippines for its customers as part of Phase I and will be implemented through the Xpress Money FLEX Business Platform.
The agreement was signed by Amit Malhotra, General Manager of Retail Banking at Commercial Bank of Dubai, Sudesh Gerian, Chief Executive Officer of Xpress Money, as well as senior management from both parties at a ceremony held at Dubai Commercial Bank’s main office in Dubai.
This partnership will enable customers of Dubai Commercial Bank to conduct international remittances to bank accounts in Pakistan and the Philippines through the Bank’s online banking service and the CBD Mobile application, which will provide them with convenience, speed and flexibility as well as competitive prices. “We are partnering with Xpress Money to provide a smooth, secure and fast remittance service that will enable UAE residents to transfer money to their families and loved ones in their home country,” said Dr. Bernd van Linder, Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bank of Dubai.
Amit Malhotra, General Manager of Retail Banking at Commercial Bank of Dubai, said: “This agreement will allow us to reduce the time spent in remittance transactions to Pakistan and the Philippines using the Xpress Money FLEX platform, which is a safe platform for online money transfer.
