The Dubai Export Development Corporation (DEDC) has held more than 450 meetings with local exporters and international buyers on the sidelines of its participation in Gulfood 2019 and has received 9 international delegations through its pavilion. He pointed out that the organization has organized many promotional activities and local and international trade events during the past year. It has contributed positively to the positive results in the export rates in the beverage and food sector to foreign markets. The total foreign trade of food and beverages during the first nine months of 2018 amounted to about 63 billion Dhs. India came at the top of Dubai’s trade partners with food worth AED 5.1 billion.
