Arab businessmen meet in Jordan and recommend the establishment of an Arab rescue fund

The participants of the 16th Arab Business Community Forum recommended the establishment of an Arab Salvation Fund to finance an Arab national reconstruction project for countries that have witnessed devastation in all sectors. Arab sovereign funds and Arab businessmen have a fundamental role to play.

The participants stressed the importance of rebuilding Arab economies affected by political events during the recent period, implementing economic and political reforms on sound democratic foundations, preserving constitutional institutions, providing security and stability in all its forms and rehabilitating Arab citizens.

The participants in the forum organized by the Arab Businessmen Union at the King Hussein Bin Talal Palace expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II for taking care of the work of the forum, while they decided to hold the 17th forum in Lebanon next year.

The final statement read by the President of the Union of Arab Businessmen Hamdi Tabbaa stressed the importance of investing in renewable energy as a clean alternative energy in the present and future, and adopting advanced technology in its production and distribution. Arab governments should encourage the generation, use and export of this energy by providing all facilities, infrastructure and possible exemptions. And enact legislation governing it.
The statement pointed to the need to adopt food security projects and settle their investments as a strategic priority in Arab and friendly countries with comparative advantages in food production, in addition to the continuous preservation of strategic stocks of commodities.
The final communiqué called for the development of the Arab countryside through the provision of basic services to stop rural-urban migration, the provision of loans to farmers, the promotion of the agricultural cooperative sector, small and medium-sized enterprises, and intensive labor in various sectors.

The statement stressed the need to reduce the exceptions, whether administrative, customs or logistical, and to bring the Customs Union into existence, which has taken clear decisions from the Arab summits, and the issuance and promotion of electronic commerce legislation.
The statement pointed to the importance of developing and improving Arab relations with the global economic blocs on a fair and balanced basis in trade, investment and employment, especially with the BRICS countries, and engaging in the new Silk Road project, the Mercosur Union project, the African Union and other blocs.
The statement stressed that the promotion and support of private sector investments along with public investments is the most effective way to alleviate unemployment and poverty. The statement pointed out that education and scientific research are the foundation of progress, development and development, in addition to the need to spread and spread knowledge stations throughout the Arab world, Education curricula to be outputs to suit the requirements of knowledge and the needs of sustainable development.
The final statement of the 16th Arab Businessmen Forum affirmed that Al-Quds Al-Sharif is the capital of the eternal state of Palestine, stressing the support of the Palestinian people on its pure land and its steadfastness in the face of barbaric Zionist invasions.
The statement called on the Arab leaders at their next summit in Saudi Arabia to have the Arab economic file a high priority on their agenda to achieve Arab integration into an Arab economic bloc that will be the cornerstone of security and stability of our Arab nation.
