The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, announced the adoption and issuance of housing aid decisions for the current month of November, with 510 new housing decisions, worth 406 million and 700 thousand dirhams, as part of the fifth batch of loan beneficiaries according to the new housing policy and the housing loan financing program. The percentage of what has been achieved of the goals of the year 2022, since the Cabinet approved the housing policy last June, reaches 84%, with 2,526 housing decisions worth two billion and 12 million and 851 thousand dirhams, out of 3,000 planned for the current year.
Engineer Mohamed Al-Mansoori, Director of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, said that the program continues to work hard and constructive cooperation with various partners in government agencies and the private sector, especially national banks, to implement the wise leadership decisions aimed at meeting the aspirations and needs of citizens, providing them with decent livelihoods, and ensuring The welfare of the people of the country and their families, including the new housing policy and the financing program for housing loans worth 11.5 billion dirhams, benefiting 13,000 citizen families, which was approved by the esteemed Council of Ministers in its session last June.
Al Mansouri stressed that the program is keen to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, to meet future needs. For the citizens of the state, and to enhance family stability and achieve well-being and a decent and safe life for citizens, through the implementation of what was stated in the objectives of the housing policy in accordance with the specified time frames and programs.
He pointed out that the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program is making sincere efforts to meet the requirements of citizens who have applied for housing assistance, speed up the completion of applications and end all waiting lists, as well as enhance cooperation with its partners in government agencies, the private sector and the local community in this regard, and that it is among the objectives of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme. The program for the next stage is to unify efforts to serve the citizens who benefit from the program.
