Zain Jordan launches the first free training course for deaf people

Zain Jordan, in cooperation with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), launched the first free intensive training course for deaf people to train them in the maintenance of mobile devices at Bayader Wadi Al-Seer Training College. The move stems from Zain’s belief in the importance of giving all members of the society equal opportunities, in addition to its efforts to contribute to the development of the society and to empower young people from different groups, especially the deaf, to integrate them into society and the labor market. Zain has equipped specialized rooms and equipment to meet the requirements of the Deaf category so that they can benefit and train easily and effectively on the maintenance of mobile devices. The course will last for three months by experts in cooperation with sign language specialists. In cooperation with the Vocational Training Center, Zain has established five cellular training centers in Zarqa, Tafila, Karak, Irbid and Amman in cooperation with UNRWA and has supported its website www.jo.zain.com as a virtual interpreter. In collaboration with a sign language interpreting team. For the first time in the Kingdom, Zain launched the pre-paid “Al Basma” line, designed specifically for the Deaf category with various benefits, with free call to the SSD 114 for Deaf. And supported the application of the “code” free of charge for smart phones, launched by the team Altrjman, and specifically developed for the deaf to translate the sign language.
