SABIC sign MoU with Saudi Exports Development Authority

The Saudi Export Development Authority  has signed a joint cooperation agreement with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) in the presence of the Secretary General of the Saudi Export Development Authority (SAUDI) Saleh Saleh Al-Salami and Vice President of SABIC’s Local Content and Business Development Unit Mohamed Mousa.

The agreement comes between Saudi Exports and SABIC, with the aim of developing and enhancing exports of non-oil national facilities, developing exporters, marketing and promoting their products in the markets.

SABIC is a pioneer in the fields of basic industries and one of the largest international facilities in its field. It has the necessary international capabilities and expertise. Saudi exports are also possible to contribute to increasing exports, supporting exporters and opening up new export markets.

The cooperation between the two sides is an important hub for benefiting from the international presence and the international expertise of SABIC, as well as the services and possibilities provided by the Saudi Exports to exporters,

As non-oil exports are one of the most important pillars of the 2030 vision, employing the potential of industrial enterprises, improving the efficiency of the export environment, and providing incentives to exporters is supportive to encourage Saudi products in the international markets and boost their competitiveness, Saudi Exports and SABIC have expressed their desire to cooperate in a manner consistent with their respective tasks of supporting cooperation initiatives that will contribute to increasing exports of Saudi non-oil facilities.

The agreement will strengthen efforts to support exporters and promote their products and services to expand in international markets, thus translating the vision of the Kingdom 2030 and its aims to raise the proportion of Non-oil exports from 16% to 50% of the total GDP, in order to meet the aspirations of the wise leadership to diversify sources of income for the national economy.
