Horse racing competitions have raised the pace of enthusiasm and excitement for the daily sports tournaments that are held within the activities of the Liwa International Festival 2023.
The horse race, in its two halves, witnessed a great turnout from the people of Al Dhafra to participate and attend a terrifying field.
In the 2100-meter run, the horse “Zeinhum” by Saif Ashir Ali came in first place, and “EF Bahi” by Saif Bakhit Al-Marar came second, and “ES Nahund” by Ahmed Muhammad Al-Marar came in third place, and “Al-Khatif” came fourth for Adnan Hamza Al-Hamidah. Fifthly, “Statement” by Hamad Ali Al-Marar.
In the 1400-meter run, the horse “F Al-Areq” won the first place, and “Al-Gharbi” came second, both of them by Saif Ashir Ali. In the third place came “S Ghazi” by Ahmed Muhammad Al-Muhairbi, and “F Listen” by Ahmed Muhammad Al-Marar came in fourth place, and he came fifth. “The Western Marwah” by Ali Al-Marar Salem.
The winners were honored at the end by Muhammad Al-Mashghuni, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Liwa Sports Club, Bakhit Asheer Al-Marar, Ahmed Al-Hamli, members of the Board of Directors, and Hamdan Al-Mazrouei, Director General of the Club.
And as the festival reaches its tenth day tomorrow, the activities of the sand parade of cars will continue on the terrifying dunes.
The eight-cylinder category will be held tomorrow, and the competition will start at 4:00 pm with the technical examination, which will last for two full hours, and the championship will start at 6:00 pm.
The distance of the area specified for the show is 150 meters at an angle of 50 degrees, and each participant is evaluated from the moment he crosses the starting line, and each competitor is given 4 attempts.
The arbitration committee set a number of violations that will affect the collection of points, and that each contestant must avoid them in order to ensure that the jury reaches the highest score.
