Fan race for sailing bearings at Al Dhafra Maritime Festival kicks off tomorrow

Al Dhafra, March 10: The 43-foot Marawah Dhow Race will start tomorrow within the 14th Al Dhafra Maritime Festival.
100 loaders will participate in the race, as the sailing boats will sail at 3:00 pm for a distance of 15 nautical miles from Abu Al-Abyad Island, the starting point, to Al-Mughirah Beach, the festival’s headquarters.
Next Sunday at 3:00 p.m., the Janana Race for 22-foot sailing bearings will start for a distance of 5 nautical miles from the coast of Janana Island, to the final station on Al-Mughirah Beach.
The marine heritage races in the festival started today with the traditional Al Tafres race, with the participation of 30 loaders, while the harbor races for heritage rowing, Salah Al Bwanish sailing, and the standing rowing race will be held in the coming days.
