On Thursday morning, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, witnessed the graduation ceremony of University of Sharjah students, the “Silver Jubilee batch”, for the summer 2021-2022 and fall 2022-2023 semesters, for bachelor’s degrees from various faculties, in Hall University City.

His Highness delivered a speech in which he congratulated the graduates, saying: “When I stood here at the graduation of the last two cohorts, I was keen to mention in front of your colleagues, some of the achievements of the University of Sharjah for them to be proud of, and the certificates they will obtain, and I believe that this batch is the most fortunate, as you are The Silver Jubilee batch, and this name will stick to you as long as you live, so congratulations to you, and congratulations to everyone who stood behind you and behind your diligence. Today, joy is in every home, and I see some of it on the faces of fathers and mothers here, as if I also feel the warmth of smiles behind the screens.

His Highness added, “Congratulations also to the professors who have done a lot to instill in you the values of knowledge and culture, that knowledge that will be your weapon in facing life’s challenges to reach a brilliant future.”
His Highness addressed the achievements of the University of Sharjah, referring to its prestigious status, saying, “Your university, which celebrates twenty-five years since it was founded by His Highness Sheikh Dr. At the state level, jumping one hundred and fifty ranks among the best three hundred universities, according to the Times ranking of the evaluation of world universities for the year two thousand and twenty-three, so you have the right to be proud of your university, and we have the right to be proud of you because you are part of this achievement.
His Highness the President of the University of Sharjah concluded his speech by advising and guiding the graduates, and wishing them success, saying, “Today you begin a new stage of life that requires souls and leaders aspiring to the highest, armed with persistence and determination, so set out to acquire more knowledge, complete your studies, and pass on what you have learned.” You learned it for the fields of work, and make sure to benefit from those who preceded you. And remember, the doors of sustenance are many, and you need many ways (and whoever has many ways is about to be opened for him).
The ceremony began with the national anthem of the UAE, after which verses from the Holy Qur’an were recited, after which Dr. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi gave a speech in which he expressed his thanks, appreciation and congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi for honoring the graduation ceremony and honoring the graduate students. He also congratulated the graduate students. and their parents, wishing them success in their future career.
In his speech, the Director of the University of Sharjah referred to the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to establish the university on the best methods, and to provide it with sources of science and knowledge, which contributed to the prestigious position that the university assumed in various international classifications and assessments, and made Its graduates are proud of it.
At the end of his speech, he saluted fathers, mothers, and guardians for their great efforts in raising their children and following them through the distinguished educational journey, advising the graduates to continue their education and look towards the future with confidence.
Graduate Jassim Juma Al Marashdeh gave a speech to the graduates, in which he thanked the graduates to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and the founder of the University of Sharjah, who works to nurture and build people, and to establish bright scientific beacons that illuminate the paths of generations over the years. .
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, for his support for the university in continuation of its rich scientific career.
He talked about the march of science at the university, pointing out that it was the most beautiful year, full of science and knowledge, advising his colleagues to have piety and sincerity at work, and to show morals, values and professional standards in the fields of work.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi handed the graduates their certificates, congratulating them on their graduation.
At the end of the graduation ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi kindly shook hands with the student Farid Muhammad Farid Al-Awlaki, and congratulated him and his family on the occasion of his excellence and his graduation with first class honors and a total of 4/4 from the Biotechnology major, advising him, and all outstanding students, to continue their postgraduate studies and follow their path. The number of graduates reached 505 for the summer semester 2021-2022 and the fall semester 2022-2023 from the university’s faculties: Business Administration, Communication, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Computing and Informatics, Sharia and Islamic Studies, Science, Fine Arts and Design, Law, and Engineering.
Next to His Highness the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the graduation ceremony was attended by: Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Quwain, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman Umm Al Quwain Finance Department, Sheikh Ali bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, head of the Umm Al Quwain Municipality Department, a number of sheikhs, senior officials from the heads of government departments, members of the University of Sharjah Board of Trustees, members of the administrative and teaching staff, and a group of graduates’ families.
