Sultan inaugurates the exhibition “Blessed Verses and Creative Pens” at the Museum of Islamic Civilization

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated yesterday, Monday, the exhibition “Blessed Verses and Creative Pens: Illuminations on the Finest Manuscripts from the Hamid Jaafar Qur’anic Collection” at the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization. After his arrival, His Highness toured the exhibition, which runs until March 19, and presents a bouquet of rare Quranic manuscripts, including 50 original pieces of Quranic manuscripts, a painting and a carpet, all dating back to 14 centuries, and illuminating the influence of Islamic civilization as a unifying force and a source of inspiration for different cultures from the Near East.
