Abu Dhabi Police and ADNOC Distribution open two tracks to test electric vehicles

The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with ADNOC Distribution, opened two new lanes for testing electric vehicles, the first in Abu Dhabi at the ADNOC Vehicle Testing Center in the Muroor area, and the second in Al Ain at the Vehicle Testing Center in Al Bateen to serve electric car owners with the aim of giving them priority in checking their vehicles through these specially prepared lanes. And in implementation of its strategy aimed at making all members of society happy, paying attention to the proactiveness and quality of services, and promoting the concept of quality of life for all.

Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Buraik Al-Amiri, Director of the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Directorate in the Central Operations Sector, explained that the opening of the two lanes comes as an unprecedented step aimed at achieving the desired and common goals between the two sides and reaching record levels of customer satisfaction within the government directions in implementing the national strategy for quality of life and the rational Abu Dhabi government strategy in taking into account Community requirements, by providing innovative services and reaching all groups at their nearest headquarters.

He pointed out that the Directorate of Drivers and Vehicles Licensing in Abu Dhabi Police seeks, in cooperation with the strategic partner, ADNOC Distribution, to provide distinguished and exceptional services within a package of initiatives aimed at developing the joint work system between the two sides in order to improve the level of services provided in the field of technical inspection of light vehicles.
