The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi confirmed that the health sector in the emirate is free of the four pharmaceutical products that are used for children and manufactured by Maiden Pharmaceuticals, which contain polluting substances, according to the World Health Organization.
And the department explained in a statement, yesterday evening, Friday, that those products are: “Promethazine Oral Solution, Kofexmalin Baby Cough Syrup, Makoff Baby Cough Syrup and Magrip N Cold Syrup.”
The Department of Health in the Emirate called on all members of society, if any of these medicines are available to them, to not use them and to seek medical advice in the event of any adverse reactions appearing after their use.
