According to a report by the Jordanian Department of Statistics, the capital governorate ranked first in the first quarter of this year in terms of total area of ​​licensed buildings by 46%, followed by Irbid governorate by 17% compared to the same period of 2017.

The governorate of Al-Zarqa came third with 14%, Al Balqa 6%, Jerash Governorate 3%, Al Mafraq Governorate 2%, Karak Governorate 2%, Ajloun Governorate 2%, and Madaba & Aqaba Governorates by 6.1% While the licensed buildings in the rest of the governorates accounted for 8.1% of the total area of ​​licensed buildings during the same measurement period.
