This week, Abu Dhabi’s Demand Side and Energy Efficiency Management Strategy 2030 is one of the most significant achievements of a joint effort by a group of local authorities to reduce electricity consumption by 22% and water by 32% by 2015. In 2030 based on the baseline for 2013.
The world is witnessing a growing demand for energy products and technologies. We have developed the Abu Dhabi Integrated Energy Model, or “Energy Cube”, and provided it with advanced technical tools that enable us to test and predict the results of energy and economy-wide policies. The model is able to provide future perspectives on the realities of the sector in Abu Dhabi over the next 10 to 30 years.
