Abu Dhabi, February 11: The curtain will fall tomorrow, Sunday, on the activities of the fifth and final round of the Emirates International Jet Ski Championship, which will be held on the breakwater in the capital, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 60 competitors in 11 categories in the championship.
The final round will be organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, in a strong and successful continuation of the local season full of various modern and heritage marine championships.
The competition will start tomorrow in two stages; The morning stage includes 10 categories, starting with the “Standing GP1” category, then the “Sitted GP3” category, followed by the “Standing GP2”, “Sitted GP2” and “Standing Junior” categories (including 3 Categories for juniors), “Sitting GP4”, “Giants Class or Veteran Class”, then the “Professional Sitting” category.
Each category was allocated 15 minutes, except for “Sitting Professionals”, which was allocated 20 minutes.
After that, all teams will enter a rest period in preparation for the final evening stage, which will start at 2:30 pm in the same order as the morning categories, with the addition of the category of exhibition movements at the end, followed by crowning the winners of the round.

Nasser Al Dhaheri, General Supervisor of the Race, thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, for the support and follow-up to all the events and events that the club is keen to organize. Al Dhaheri stressed that the competition will be strong in the fifth round of the championship and the final stage of the jet ski season, especially as it will determine the season’s champions in all categories.
He said: Tomorrow we will witness a great excitement among the participants to reach the first positions in each category and continue to collect points. We followed a strong challenge in the past 4 rounds, and for sure, this round will be a continuation of this excitement and challenge among the participants.
Al Dhaheri expressed his wishes of success to all the participants in the final round, especially as it is held on the Corniche of the capital, which is one of the distinguished places for organizing marine and closed races away from water currents and waves that may affect the bikes and the participants.
