Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing the UAE-Russia Forum in the Russian Federation from 3 to 6 September.
The forum will be chaired by HE Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, accompanied by Sheikh Majid Bin Faisal Al Qasimi, First Vice President, Jamal Saeed Bozingal, Director of Media Department, Jassim Issa Al Mutawa, Counselor for Relations with CIS Countries, and Lamia Abdulrahman Al Jasmi, Senior Executive Director of National Industries Development. Al Ali is a National Industries Development Executive at the Sharjah Export Development Center along with a number of private sector representatives in the Emirate.
The forum aims at exploring and presenting new investment opportunities in both countries, in addition to contributing to enhancing trade exchange and discussing areas of joint cooperation based on the chamber’s role towards serving the business community, enhancing their activities and activities, in addition to developing exports of production facilities in Sharjah.
Abdulaziz Shattaf, Assistant Director General of the Chamber for Member Services Sector, Director of Sharjah Export Development Center, said that the forum comes two years after organizing the Sharjah-Russia Forum, which embodies the strategy of the chamber in providing a competitive environment to develop the business of the private sector and the members of the chamber. Opportunities and exploring the possibility of establishing an investment partnership to find new markets for local industry products.
He pointed out that these working meetings between the representatives of the private sector from both sides will play a constructive and effective role to discuss and consider the establishment of projects that serve the efforts of the economic and commercial bodies in both countries.
Shattaf pointed out that the program of the forum will witness the establishment of forums in the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg in cooperation with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the two Russian cities. Sharjah seeks to cooperate with Russian investors wishing to invest in Sharjah by establishing projects that serve these sectors.
The forum will include presentations to representatives of participating private companies on their services and activities in the promotion of their work through the organization of bilateral meetings between the two sides will also witness the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Chamber and the Russian business organization.
