“Ajman Chamber” provides 76 commercial mediation services in 2022

The commercial mediation service in the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry witnessed 76 cases during 2022, while the Ajman Center for Conciliation and Arbitration received 19 cases according to flexible and impartial mechanisms for settling disputes easily and at the lowest costs, relying on the means and standards in the field of dispute resolution.

Abdullah Omar Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of the Membership Transactions and Legal Services Sector at the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the Chamber’s keenness to diversify its legal services and develop innovative services aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the emirate’s economy and increasing its investment attractiveness, in addition to the efforts made to develop legal awareness among business owners and investors.

He pointed out that the Ajman Chamber witnessed in 2022 the launch of a “visual platform” aimed at providing a digital legal platform that allows business owners, investors and those concerned with economic affairs to view local and federal laws and legislation, and enables business owners and establishments to share their opinions and proposals to develop a more developed and sustainable economic environment.
Al-Marzouqi said: The Chamber was keen to find solutions to legal disputes that satisfy all parties and support the progress of business growth and sustainability to ensure rights at the lowest cost, effort and time.
He explained that the Chamber is keen to spread awareness and promote legal culture by organizing a series of legal seminars within an approved plan in cooperation with the concerned federal and local authorities. Where two legal seminars were organized under the title “Decree Law No. 33 of 2021 and its implementing regulations” in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. With the aim of enhancing legal awareness and reviewing developments in decisions and legislation.
For his part, Ahmed Khalifa Al Muwaji, Director of the Legal Services Department and Secretary General of the Ajman Center for Conciliation and Arbitration, confirmed that the Ajman Chamber seeks to intensify its legal services in line with the successive developments of the economic sector and to ensure the sustainability and growth of business and attract investors, indicating that the Chamber launched the legal library during 2022 on its website. To review the most important economic and commercial legislation and laws of interest to business owners and investors, for direct viewing.
He added, “Ajman Chamber is keen to develop the legal and legislative environment that supports the development of the emirate’s economy by expressing a legal opinion on legislation and laws in cooperation with its partners from the concerned government agencies.”
