Arab conference discusses raising oil and gas efficiency

The second Arab Regional Conference “Efficiency of Oil, Gas and Related Industries in the Arab Countries, Towards an Effective Vision for Joint Arab Action” will be held tomorrow in Cairo, organized by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development (AOAD) under the auspices of Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
Dr. Nasser Al-Hitlan Al-Qahtani, Director-General of the Arab Organization for Administrative Development, said today that the conference will discuss future projects and opportunities for joint Arab action in the oil and gas industry and related industries, and the challenges facing these industries.
The conference will also discuss the prospects of the future knowledge-based industries in the Arab region, renewable energy systems and their development prospects in the Arab region, the importance of strategic alliances with global R & D centers to create future industries, the networking of advanced industries with renewable energy sources, and the role of Arab universities in supporting the strategy. The establishment of promising future industries. The conference will be attended by representatives of eight Arab countries. The first session of the two-day conference will discuss joint Arab action in the oil and gas field, related industries and international economic challenges – a vision for the future.
The second session will discuss future projects and opportunities for joint Arab action in the oil and gas industry and related industries.
On the second day of the conference, successful examples of joint bilateral and regional Arab action in the oil and gas industry and related industries will be presented.
The final session will address the prospects for future knowledge-based industries in the Arab region.
