Dubai Financial Market rises 3.5%

The general index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has rebounded since the opening of today’s session, and gained 3.5% at 2613 points.
The strong market rally was supported by the leading stocks, especially in the real estate and banking sectors, and the MSCI announcement came in line with the results of the semi-annual review of UAE companies in the Emerging Markets Index.
Emaar Properties closed at 1.82 dirhams with a growth of 13.7%, while Emaar Properties gained more than 8% at AED 3.76 and AED 4.37.
In the banking sector, Dubai Islamic Bank rose by one hour to AED 5.12.
The large increase witnessed by the market was accompanied by an increase in trading appetite. The value of transactions reached about 400 million dirhams and the number of shares traded reached 351 million shares through 5757 transactions.
