When is the application for a “5-year tourist” visa in the UAE canceled?

The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Port Security has allowed foreigners abroad of all nationalities to apply directly without a guarantor or intermediary, for a 5-year multiple-entry tourist visa, through its website or the UAEICP smart application, with a fee of 650 dirhams, including 100 dirhams application fee. 500 dirhams for visa issuance fees, and 50 dirhams fees for the authority and electronic services.
The authority stressed the importance of reviewing the data submitted for the issuance of the visa, and ensuring that the required documents are attached.
It pointed out that the application was canceled electronically, after 30 days had passed, in the event that the application was returned due to data deficiencies or failure to complete the required documents.
