The Board of Directors of Rowad aims to support industrial projects in the Emirate of Sharjah

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Rowad, said during a recent meeting chaired by His Excellency Sultan Abdullah Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Rawad Foundation, the importance of focusing on supporting entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the industrial sector in order to attract more industrial projects to Sharjah. And supporting them, pointing out that SMEs are a very important part of the economic diversification system in the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE in general.
The meeting was attended by Khalid Bin Butti Bin Obaid Al Hajri, Raghda Hamad Trim, Abdullah Musabah Al Tunaiji, Khalil Mohammed Al Mansouri, Hamad Al Mahmoud, Director of the Foundation and Fatima Al Ali, Director of Project Support and Finance Department.
The Board members discussed the achievements of the Foundation and discussed a number of issues, proposals, initiatives and ideas that would enhance the Foundation’s support for young citizens from small and medium-sized enterprises, including activating government procurement and enhancing the participation of the Foundation and its members in the activities of the Emirate of Sharjah. The establishment of the Foundation for 2019 and the establishment of a period of time to complete the conversion of traditional services to digital services.
“The industrial sector in the emirate of Sharjah continues to grow steadily, with the country moving towards the establishment of specialized industrial zones, attracting and attracting foreign investments, and bringing in new technology that provides the sector with competitive factors with the global industrial sectors. Hamad Al Mahmood said that the efforts of Rowad to transform most of its services into digital are in line with the vision of the UAE 2021 and the digital transformation plans in the Emirate of Sharjah, which in the past years have embarked on applying the latest digital technologies to ensure the promotion of diversification of the economy and sustainable economic development. Innovation in the delivery of services for “pioneers” and creating a stimulating environment for investment in SMEs for Emiratis.
