The Security Council condemns the Houthi terrorist attacks on the Dabba oil port by drones

The members of the UN Security Council strongly condemned the terrorist attacks by drones launched by the terrorist Houthi militia on the oil port of Al-Dabbah in Hadhramaut governorate last Friday, where an oil tanker was docked at the time. In a press statement issued yesterday, the members of the Council considered these attacks a serious threat to the peace process, stability of Yemen, and maritime security, including navigational rights and freedoms stipulated in international law. They stressed that any escalation would only exacerbate the suffering of the Yemeni people. They called on the terrorist Houthi militia to immediately stop such attacks, respect their obligations under international humanitarian law, give priority to the Yemeni people, and engage constructively in efforts to renew a truce.
