Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, condemned, on Thursday, the Iranian attacks that targeted the Kurdistan region of Iraq, which violate the sovereignty of Iraq and threaten the security and stability of the region.
In an official statement, Al-Hajraf affirmed, during his meeting in Riyadh, the Iraqi ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Abdul Sattar Al-Janabi, the GCC’s rejection of everything that would prejudice the sovereignty, security and stability of Iraq. The Secretary-General stressed the importance of strengthening the bonds of joint cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Iraq, in a manner that serves common interests. During the meeting, several topics of common interest were discussed, most notably the review of Gulf relations.
