Simulation of the “Mars 2117” mission via Metaverse technology

The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center has announced its support for the development of metaverses that will simulate the UAE’s manned mission to Mars 2117. The project, the first of its kind, will be led by Bedouin, Dubai’s first pioneer in third-generation web technologies and solutions (Web 3).

The Metaverse 2117 project, which was formally formulated through a memorandum of understanding, will witness close cooperation between the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center and Bedouin, where Bedouin will share its experiences in developing Metaverse through a series of workshops and strategy development sessions that will include virtual experiences. An exciting simulation that simulates the experience of entering space for the first foot on the Red Planet, in addition to raising awareness of the challenges of exploration and settlement of colonies.
