His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, arrived in Cairo on Wednesday, on an official visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, was at the forefront of His Highness’s reception upon his arrival and the accompanying delegation at Cairo International Airport, along with a number of ministers and senior Egyptian officials.
During a short break in the VIP hall at the airport, the Egyptian President welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation, and they exchanged cordial conversations that express the strength of the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries. They also exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, asking God Almighty to make it a month of goodness, blessings and mercy for everyone.
The delegation accompanying His Highness the President of the State includes: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Presidential Court, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Maryam Khalifa Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt.
At the reception were Dr. Eng. Mostafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister, Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaker Al-Marqabi, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Dr. Hala Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Major General Abbas Kamel, Head of Intelligence, and Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, Official Spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic.
Then the convoy of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed went to the Federal Palace, and upon his arrival, an official reception ceremony took place for His Highness, where President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, His Highness the Head of State, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was escorted to the main platform, where the national anthem was played. For each of the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt, then His Highness reviewed a group of honor guards, who lined up to greet him, and His Highness shook hands with his senior recipients.
