Memorandum of Understanding between the Jordanian Accounting and the Saudi Audit Bureau

The Jordanian Audit Bureau and the Saudi Audit Bureau signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two parties in the field of accounting, auditing and professional work.
The memorandum aims at exchanging views and advice through which to improve the professional audit performance and to confirm the continuous cooperation between the Arab regulatory bodies under the umbrella of the Arab Organization for Supreme Audit and Financial Institutions (ARSA) and the desire of the two sides to increase the efficiency of the financial audit and supervision of the performance of government agencies. The laws and regulations in force in both countries and in accordance with the available possibilities.
The memorandum includes the exchange of experiences and participation in research projects and activities related to issues of common interest, including the provision of consultations and seminars and the organization of meetings and conferences on contemporary professional topics in the financial audit and oversight of the performance of government agencies. It also includes the organization of joint training programs in the areas of financial auditing and performance control in the public sector, and the exchange of labor manuals, rules and methodologies.
