One billion Egyptian pounds, Suez Canal Authority investments in the plan 22/2023

The Egyptian Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announced that the investments of the Suez Canal Authority are estimated at 13.1 billion pounds in the plan for the year 22/2023. She explained that the canal is one of the main sources of foreign exchange, as it generates an annual revenue of about 6 billion dollars and contributes to absorbing the growing trade movement and receiving huge tankers and giant ships, noting that about 10% of the total global trade movement passes through it, and approximately 25% of the total movement of goods Globally, almost 100% of the total seaborne container trade is between Asia and Europe.
