The General Organization for Saudi Cereals announced its sixth tender for the year 2018 to import (1.020.000) tons of barley for supply during the period (November – December 2018) distributed to the number of (17) ships with (12) ships of the Kingdom’s ports on the Red Sea and ( 5) vessels of the Kingdom’s ports on the Arabian Gulf.
HE Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al-Faris, the Governor of the Foundation, confirmed that this tender is an extension of the Kingdom’s plan to cover the local demand of barley and preserve its strategic stock, pointing out that the company has completed the supply of 6.2 million tons since the beginning of this year.
