Today, Sunday, the head of the Russian company, “Gazprom” Alexei Miller, warned against stopping supplies in the event of imposing a ceiling on Russian gas prices.
Miller said – according to the “Russia Today” news channel – “The attempt to set a price for Russian gas in Europe is a unilateral decision that violates the basic conditions of the signed contracts.”
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak had said, earlier, that it is better for the United States to impose a ceiling on the price of US liquefied gas instead of contributing to the impoverishment of energy in Europe.
