Jeddah Islamic Port achieves a record

Jeddah Islamic Port received 39 vessels of different shapes, sizes, loads and length of the submersible. The port achieved a record of receiving these vessels at the same time, including 21 vessels on the berths and 18 vessels on the internal submersible or the so-called Almaktaf area.
Among the ships anchored at the port is the 13,900-meter-long vessel RBJORDANA, which carries 73,623 tons of maize, the 363-meter MA GEMINI, 131,332 tons, and the CMA CGM.
The port receives a large number of vessels at the same time, confirming its capacity and operational efficiency to receive the largest number of vessels, due to the integration of its infrastructure and berths, which receives the world’s largest container vessels with a length of 400 meters and a maximum capacity of 19,800 TEUs. And the initiatives taken by the General Authority of Ports recently, which contributed to facilitating the movement and speed of delivery in the clearance of goods.
