Export growth among the Andean Community is more than 25 percent

The value of exports among Andean countries reached 5.95 billion dollars during the first eight months of this year, registering a rise of 25.7 percent compared to the same period of 2017.
The Andean Community, which seeks to achieve integrated and balanced development among its member States, consists of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
Ecuadorian exports to member countries rose 38.9 percent, Bolivia 23.3 percent, Colombia 23 percent and Peru 13.7 percent, according to the statistics department of the Andean Community Secretariat.
The value of exports of member countries to the world during the period between January and August of this year 79.656 billion dollars, representing an increase of 17.3 percent compared to the same period of 2017.
