On behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the State and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, will inaugurate the fourth ordinary session on Monday, November 21, 2022 AD. From the seventeenth legislative chapter of the Federal National Council, in the presence of His Highness Sheikhs, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, His Highness Sheikhs, senior civil and military state officials, and members of the diplomatic corps.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, issued a decree inviting the Council to convene in its fourth ordinary session of its seventeenth legislative term on Monday, November 21, 2022 AD, and the opening ceremony of the role begins with the arrival of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy The President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him, to the council headquarters, where His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, will be received, after which the UAE national anthem will be played. The ceremony was reciting fragrant verses from the Holy Qur’an, and His Highness kindly gave the fourth regular session with a sublime pronunciation.
Then H.E. Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Council, delivers a speech on this occasion, after which he recites a decree inviting the Council to convene, and the session is adjourned to bid farewell to His Highness, Vice President of the State, “may God preserve him”, and Their Highnesses the Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers and Their Highnesses Sheikhs.
After that, the Federal National Council will hold its first session of its fourth ordinary session for the seventeenth legislative term, chaired by His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council.
The session begins with the election of observers and the formation of permanent committees. The council is briefed on international agreements and treaties concluded by the government, messages issued and received by the government, and draft laws received from the government.
The General Assembly of the Parliamentary Division also holds its first meeting of the fourth ordinary session of the seventeenth legislative term, during which the Council forms parliamentary groups and friendship committees.
