The German Economy Minister receives a hydrogen load as an experiment from the Emirates

German Economy Minister Robert Habeck on Friday received the first test shipment of hydrogen from the United Arab Emirates with his symbolic opening of the gas tap, at the headquarters of the copper manufacturing company “Eurobis” in Hamburg.

This shipment represents a prelude to more shipments approved by Habik during a trip to the Gulf states this spring, which is a test run for the development of the hydrogen transport chain between the UAE and Germany.

“Now we need to intensify the flow of hydrogen more than ever,” said Habeck, who came to Eurobis with UAE Minister of Industry Sultan Al Jaber and Hamburg Mayor Peter Chincher.
