Saudi Arabia’s Trade and Investment Minister Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi said that the value of trade between OIC member countries has increased significantly since the implementation of the 10-year work plan (2005-2015). It has moved from 271.45 billion US dollars in 2005 To US $ 694.23 billion in 2015, an increase of 156%
The minister said in a speech at the opening session of the General Assembly of the Institute of Standards and Metrology of the Islamic Countries (SEMIC): The directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince always emphasize the need to strengthen and strengthen cooperation and joint Islamic action in various fields and achieve economic growth and provide the elements of strengthening unity and rapprochement between Islamic peoples, and reflected that the (Arab and Islamic depth) as one of the pillars of the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
