Commodore Rashid Al-Muhaisni, Chairman of the Maritime Organizing Committee for the Navdex 2023 exhibition, said, “The current session of the Navdex exhibition is witnessing a clear and large growth in the number of exhibiting companies, leading to the display of the latest technologies specialized in the maritime defense industries sector. Since its first launch 12 years ago, the Navdex exhibition has managed to To confirm its position as one of the most prominent global platforms that bring together experts and specialists from all over the world, to find partnerships and opportunities to advance the reality and future of these vital sectors.

He added, “The current session of the Navdex exhibition attracts the participation of a number of marine vessels and ships from 8 countries, namely Pakistan, Bahrain, Britain, Italy, China and India, in addition to the United Arab Emirates. These ships will be displayed in ADNEC Port in addition to Zayed Port, which It will host a number of marine vessels and vessels participating in the exhibition.

For his part, Saeed Al Mansouri, CEO of Capital Events, a subsidiary of ADNEC Group, said, “The current session of the NAVDEX exhibition is being held in the new ADNEC Marina hall, which extends over an area of more than 10,000 square meters, which is the largest of its kind in the Middle East region. The number of companies exhibiting the current session of the Navdex exhibition increased by 206%, compared to the previous session in 2021.

It is noteworthy that the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center is the only center in the Middle East capable of organizing internal and external shows in addition to marine shows, and it has the most developed infrastructure in the region, reaching an area that exceeds 153 thousand square meters, as it is the largest in the Middle East. Middle and North Africa, which contributed effectively to the development of IDEX and NAVDEX exhibitions and to enhance their competitiveness and ability to attract major international companies specialized in these vital sectors.
