The index of major Saudi shares closed at a low of 42.66 points to close at 8405.82. Salwa, Mellath Insurance, Petro Rabigh and Tatweer were among the top gainers, while Saco, Musk, Al Hokair, Co-operation and Telecommunication were among the lowest in the trading session, with rises and falls ranging from 4.52% to 10% %. Al-Anma, Saudi Kayan, Dar Al Arkan, Telecommunication Union and Sahara were the most active in quantity. SABIC, Development, Saudi Kayan, Dar Al Arkan and Petro Rabigh were the most active in value. Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index closed 19.63 points to close at 2767.99 points, with trading worth more than 1.2 million riyals. The number of shares traded reached more than 71,000 shares, which were traded in 165 transactions.
