8.3% Increase in tourism income in Jordan in the first half of this year

The Central Bank of Jordan announced today that Jordan’s tourism income rose by 8.3% in the first half of this year to reach US $ 2.6 billion compared to US $ 2.4 billion for the same period of 2018.
The bank attributed the increase mainly to increase the total number of tourists coming to Jordan by 5.6% compared with the same period of 2018, to reach 2438.6 thousand tourists.
