9% ؜ Decrease in the volume of real estate trading in Jordan to the end of May

The volume of trading in the real estate market in Jordan decreased by 9 percent to the end of May this year to 2324 million dinars compared to 2565 million dinars for the same period of 2017. The Department of Land and Survey in its monthly report on real estate trading, issued on Wednesday, said that the Directorate of registration of northern Oman came first in the volume of circulation of 480 million dinars, followed by Randy Amman 295 million dinars and then the Directorate of Land Registration South Oman 263 million dinars. The volume of trading in the directorates of registration of the Capital Governorate and the main center of the volume of circulation of the first five months was approximately 70 percent with a total of 1632 million dinars, while the rest of the directorates of registration in the Kingdom the rest. Revenues of the Department of Land and Survey amounted to KD 120.6 million, a decrease of 10%. The number of real estate sales to non-Jordanian investors reached 1121 properties, of which 771 were apartments and 350 land. Iraqi nationality ranked first with 369 properties, Saudi nationality second with 229 properties and third with 139 properties. In terms of value, Iraqi nationality also came first with KD 46.5 million, 41% of the estimated value of non-Jordanians, second Saudi citizenship valued at 17.5 million dinars and third with Syrian citizenship worth 9.8 million dinars.
