AED 1.33 million revenues from tomorrow’s licenses at “National Touch”

Ras Al Khaimah Economic City concluded the activities of «National touches», which lasted for two full months at the end of last year. The exhibition included commercial licensees and Rasheed Al Ghad, which is part of Ras Al Khaimah’s economy, and witnessed a strong demand from families and tourists to benefit from the offers offered in 50 pavilions. The number of licenses to participate in the exhibition was about 80 licenses, distributed among forty-eight licenses for the owners of tomorrow’s home license, twenty-three ordinary commercial licenses from within the emirate, and nine ordinary licenses from outside the emirate.

Mohammed Al Mahmoud, Director of Business Development, said that the revenues of the last national exhibition amounted to AED 1.33 million, compared with only AED 116 thousand in 2017. The exhibition was highly popular among the various segments of the society, prompting the department to plan its re-launch In 2019.
He said that the National Exhibition is one of the visions of the Department of Business Development in stimulating a constellation of national entrepreneurs and competencies registered in the department, and promoting their products and creations to the local market. The location of the Corniche Corniche has been chosen as one of the most dynamic locations in the emirate, with an unprecedented presence of citizens and residents of the emirate, as well as tourists from different nationalities. It is worth mentioning that the number of licenses in the department has reached 346 licenses so far. The program is a source of support for productive families and start-up projects and promotes the culture of self-employment among young people of both sexes.
