The restaurant sector in the UAE recorded remarkable growth over the past year, supported by the return of economic activities, travel and tourism in the UAE, after Corona caused the closure of many of them.
According to data on the Ministry of Economy’s website, the restaurant sector added 1043 new restaurants in various emirates of the country in 2022, which varied between international and local, Arab and foreign, and Middle Eastern restaurants, and include many types, most notably: fast food restaurants, classic restaurants, and Arab and Western restaurants. , and many other restaurants that are associated with a particular country, especially since the country is full of more than 200 nationalities residing in it. Restaurants are distributed in shopping centers either as stand-alone stores or in food courts, hotels, shopping areas, residential areas, and social clubs. UAE restaurants recently topped the list of “Top 50 Restaurants in the Middle East and North Africa” in 2022, with 18 winning restaurants, including 6 restaurants among the top ten in the list, issued by 3 Fils Restaurant in Dubai.
The restaurant market in the UAE is witnessing annual growth, given the modern infrastructure and the environment conducive to investment in this sector, which is witnessing great demand by families, individuals and tourists coming to the country, with many international restaurants heading to open exclusive branches in the country as a fertile ground for success.
